A three piece cotton and linen blend duvet cover set from Bedsure's PureWoven line, in the shade Bedsure calls Warm Tan. This is a duvet cover set only. There is no comforter and no duvet insert included.

• Manufacturer part number: US003256RQU. This number is specific to the Queen / Warm Tan version. We confirmed the King version of the same product carries a different number, US003215RKI, which is why we are confident this part number matches what is in the bag.
• Fabric: 70% cotton, 30% linen, pre-washed
• Closure: buttons, plus inner corner ties
• Pattern: solid
• Care, as printed by the maker: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle at or below 40 C, mild bleach free detergent, tumble dry on low heat, do not bleach, iron on medium if needed
• Bedsure prints an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 mark (BJ000 221815 TESTEX) and a Bureau Veritas linen traceability test report number (BVFR18741294) on its own marketing material. We have not seen either certificate. We are repeating the maker's claim, not certifying it.
• Thread count and fabric weight in GSM are not published by the maker for this line, so neither has been entered in the item specifics.

Sizing, in the maker's own words

• The Queen cover is intended for duvet inserts measuring from 88 x 88 inches up to 90 x 90 inches.
• Bedsure's own sizing guide states that a Queen cover on a Queen bed drapes roughly 15 inches per side, but the same guide adds that drape length varies with mattress height and insert loft. Because that figure moves with the bed rather than being a property of the cover, no drop length has been entered in the item specifics.

Weight and size figures, and where our sources disagree

• We weighed the packed bundle ourselves: 4 lb 4 oz. We measured the parcel ourselves: 12 x 11 x 5 inches.
• The manufacturer's Amazon page for this exact Queen / Warm Tan item states an item weight of 4.4 lb.
• The manufacturer data feed shown on the auction listing states 4.36 lb, with a package weight of 4.41 lb.
• Those three figures disagree by roughly two ounces. Because they do not agree, no item weight has been asserted in the item specifics above. The shipping weight used for this listing is our own measured 4 lb 4 oz.
• The 12 x 11 x 5 inch figure is the outside of the packed parcel. It is not a measurement of the folded textile and has not been entered anywhere as an item dimension.

What we did not do

• We did not open the bag, unfold the contents, count the pieces by hand, measure the cover, launder it, iron it, or fit it to a bed.
• Nothing about this item requires power, so nothing was powered up or function tested.
• The contents of the bag beyond what is visible through the clear film are not guaranteed.

why it is listed the way it is

Our own intake graded this item . It is therefore listed as New without tags, which is the narrowest truthful option on that list. In plain terms: the goods appear unused, but the packaging has been opened at some point before it reached us and there is no Bedsure retail box, hangtag or branded pouch with it. What arrives is the bundle in a clear poly bag carrying fulfillment center barcode labels and an auction sticker.

The auction house's own listing chips described this lot as "New", "In Package", "No Damage", "No Missing Parts" and "No Assembly Needed". Those chips are the auction house's grading, not ours. In our experience they are frequently wrong, and we are not adopting them.

About the photographs

Every photograph in this listing is a manufacturer stock image of this exact Queen / Warm Tan version. No photograph shows the individual unit you will receive. The only photograph that exists of our actual unit shows it sealed inside its poly bag behind two barcode labels, which tells a buyer nothing useful about the fabric, so we have not used it.

The stock photographs are styled. The bed, headboard, mattress, pillows and pillow inserts, duvet insert, sheets, the rust coloured bedding visible in one image, the lamps, plants, rugs, the ribbon, the dried flowers and the cotton bolls are all props and are not included. Only the duvet cover and the two pillowcases are included.

Bedsure's own image carousel for this colour contains two further photographs that read noticeably cooler and greyer than the rest, and the maker's own caption concedes that shades vary under different lighting. We have deliberately left those two images out so that the colour shown here stays consistent. Expect a warm sand beige neutral.

A note on the auction house's retail estimate

The auction listing quoted an estimated retail of roughly one hundred and six dollars. That figure does not belong to this item. The photograph the auction house attached to the lot is, in fact, the manufacturer's main image for the California King / Linen Colour version of this product, not the Queen / Warm Tan version. At the time of writing, the maker's own price for this exact Queen / Warm Tan item was well under ninety dollars, while the King version was priced far higher. The auction house's retail estimate should therefore be read as belonging to a larger and more expensive variant, and not as a guide to what this Queen set is worth.

• Ships free within the United States from Mesa, Arizona.
• Because this is a soft textile with nothing fragile in it, it will be sent protected in a sealed mailer or a cardboard carton. No rigid packing is needed to keep it safe.
