Magula YDS-10 — 10 Litre Liquid Nitrogen Dewar / LN2 Cryogenic Container

A 10 litre vacuum-insulated aluminium liquid nitrogen container with a carry handle, a locking neck plug and canisters on lifting rods. Used for storing samples and for holding and dispensing small volumes of liquid nitrogen in laboratory, veterinary and livestock, research and beauty work.

This is the 10 litre size. Capacity is fitment on these tanks — a 10 L is a different tank from the 3 L, 6 L and 20 L versions, with different canisters and a different holding time. Please make sure 10 L is the size you need.

The figures above are the manufacturer's own published specifications for this model, not measurements taken by us. The manufacturer notes that holding time is measured with the tank sealed and undisturbed; opening it daily will shorten it, and temperature, humidity and altitude all affect it.

The blue carry sleeve and a row of canister lifting-rod handles are visible in the intake photo, and the intake weight of 17 lb 10 oz matches the manufacturer's 8.1 kg figure for the complete kit — but the factory wrap was not cut open, so the canisters were not counted and the neck plug and base cover were not seen.

• The container is supplied empty. No liquid nitrogen is included, and liquid nitrogen cannot be sent by carrier.
• Liquid nitrogen is a cryogenic liquid. It must be handled in a ventilated space with the correct gloves, face protection and training.
• Never seal the container airtight, never transport it lying down, and never use it for anything other than liquid nitrogen.
