Microsoft Surface Book Keyboard Base – BASE / KEYBOARD HALF ONLY

Please read carefully: this listing is for the keyboard base only. It does NOT include the tablet, the screen or any display. A Surface Book separates into two halves — the tablet (which holds the processor, RAM and storage) and the keyboard base (which holds the keyboard, trackpad, second battery, extra ports and, on the Performance Base, the discrete NVIDIA graphics card). Only the base half is offered here.

What Is Included

• 1 x Microsoft Surface Book keyboard base (silver magnesium chassis, backlit-style Surface keyboard, glass trackpad, dynamic fulcrum hinge)
• Base-side port cluster: 2 x USB-A plus a full-size SD card reader
• Nothing else — no tablet, no display, no power supply, no cables, no documentation, no retail box

Identification & What We Can and Cannot Confirm

• This is a genuine Microsoft Surface Book base — confirmed visually by the Surface keyboard deck and the unmistakable segmented dynamic fulcrum hinge.
• It came to us documented as the base from an Intel Core i7-6600U / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M Surface Book, i.e. the "Performance Base" variant. We have not opened the sealed bag to read the model number on the underside, so the exact base model (e.g. 1705 / 1785) and the GPU inside it are not independently verified by us.
• The i7-6600U processor lives in the tablet half, which is not part of this sale. Nothing here is a working computer on its own.

Who This Is For

This is a replacement or upgrade part for someone who already owns a Surface Book tablet, or a parts/repair unit for a technician. If you are looking for a complete, working laptop, this is not that listing.
