These are step-set, lethal (kill) traps: place the trap over an active main tunnel, press the trigger plate flat, step down on the setting lever, and the spring-loaded steel jaws do the rest. How to Use
- Find an ACTIVE main tunnel: press a section down and check whether the mole re-opens it within 24 hours
- Press the tunnel down where the trap will sit, set the trap so the trigger plate rests flat on the packed soil, and mark it with the flag
- Wear gloves when handling and setting the trap - moles have an excellent sense of smell
- Keep children and pets away from set traps
